Questions.
What Bitflix is, how it works, and why it's built differently.
Creators
For Creators
Who is Bitflix for?
Bitflix is for people who make things — independent filmmakers, long-form storytellers, educators, and the studios and schools that support them. The platform was built because every existing distribution channel extracted most of the value from the people doing the actual work. Bitflix is the alternative: a platform where the economic structure starts with the creator, not the platform.
How does the revenue share work?
89% of everything your audience pays you stays with you. 11% runs the platform — servers, AI compute, support, development. That ratio is structural, not promotional. It is written into how the platform is built, not into a terms-of-service paragraph that can be updated without notice.
What do credits cover?
Credits are the production currency inside Bitflix. They cover AI generation time — video generation, image synthesis, voice cloning, score composition, storyboard rendering, regional dubbing, and lip sync. Each model has a per-use credit cost. Your tier includes a monthly credit allocation; additional credits are available in packs. Credits do not expire within the billing month.
Can I bring my own footage?
Yes. Bitflix is not AI-only. You can upload your own footage, audio, and image assets and use the production suite as a hybrid workflow — combine AI-generated scenes with live-action material in the same project. The platform treats both equally.
What languages are supported?
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali at launch, with regional dubbing powered by the production suite. The platform is India-first in its language roadmap — additional languages will follow based on creator community demand.
When can I sign up?
Early access is opening in phases. Join the waitlist to reserve your spot. Waitlist members are notified before each phase opens.
Filmmakers
For Filmmakers
What is Cinema Studio?
Cinema Studio is the episodic production environment inside Bitflix — built for directors working on multi-scene, multi-episode projects. It gives you shot-level control over continuity, character identity, cinematography style, and pacing across an entire series. It is not a one-shot generator. It is a production suite for people who think in stories, not prompts.
Can I direct multi-shot continuity?
Yes. Ariel, the platform's cinematographer mode, maintains visual and narrative continuity across shots and episodes — consistent character appearance, lighting logic, set dressing, and camera language. You set the visual bible for your project; Ariel executes within it.
Who owns the work?
You do. The creative work you produce on Bitflix belongs to you. Bitflix does not take a licence to your content, does not use your projects for model training without consent, and does not monetise your archive after you leave. Your IP is yours. The platform terms reflect this as a structural commitment, not a policy.
Can multiple directors collaborate on a project?
Yes, through Shared Universes — the collaborative project layer that allows multiple creators to contribute to a shared world, canon, and production bible. Permissions are granular: you control who can generate within your universe, who can publish, and who can see the source assets.
Institutions
For Institutions
What is white-label?
White-label gives your institution its own branded environment running on Bitflix infrastructure — a dedicated subdomain (yourname.bitflix.io), your logo and colours, your own team structure and client portals. Your students and clients see your brand, not Bitflix's. The infrastructure, AI compute, and production tools underneath are Bitflix.
Can universities use Bitflix for curriculum?
Yes. The white-label tier was designed with film and media programmes specifically in mind. Universities get a dedicated environment for student cohorts, course-aligned credit pools, and a pathway from student project to real distribution — graduates leave with a portfolio, not just a degree. Reach out via the institutional waitlist to discuss your programme.
What about custom credit pools?
Institutional billing on the white-label tier allows custom credit pool structures — per-cohort allocations, semester-based resets, role-gated model access, and consolidated billing under a single institutional account. Pricing and structure are agreed directly with the Bitflix team; contact us to start that conversation.
